Hold tight, little one, these days don't last forever...

Oh my gosh, you're here! IT'S HAPPENING!

So you've booked your session, now what?
If you didn't know, outfits play a HUGE role in how your session looks, so let's talk "styling". I have a beautiful client closet with lots of options in a range of sizes. Check it out here:
https://www.annienelsonphotography.com/clientcloset
Please let me know if you want to borrow anything or if you'd like to come try some things on! I also have a pop up tent I can bring along to sessions for changing on-site.

Color palette!  Neutrals and earth tones work best with my editing style think: browns, rust, sage/olive or army green, cream, oatmeal, really anything earth toned/neutral. Flowing skirts/dresses or long flowing kimonos are always gorgeous and add movement and drama. Layering and a little pattern or a couple of mixed patterns add texture and interest to a photo as well! Try to avoid maroon if possible, it is very hard to edit to look good. As well as anything crazy bright or neon colored, or anything with obvious logos. And if you want to text or message me photos, feel free! Or you can call me to talk styling over the phone if that is helpful! My # is 952-204-9565

I know it can seem overwhelming but I have had great luck at stores you probably shop at weekly as well as some online retailers. Check out these stores and websites!

Old Navy
Target
Free People
Magnolia Boutique
Three Birds Nest
Vici
Bailey's Blossoms
Mebie Baby
Amazon

Also check out this PDF that discusses what to expect the day of your session and read a bit about how things will go here

Feel free to fill out the questionnaire below if you would prefer that over a phone/zoom call. It is VERY helpful to do one or the other so I can get to know your family + family story before your session!
